This Handbook is your one-stop shop and primary resource for all things OGP. It is a practical, self-use tool designed to guide national stakeholders through the OGP process. It outlines the rules, guidance, and best practices for OGP participation, promoting ambitious open government reforms while helping members meet OGP’s standards. Each section includes clear rules, key recommendations, and links to further resources — so you can use it both as a reference and a guide for planning, decision-making, and implementation. The Handbook is primarily intended for those involved in coordinating OGP-related activities at the national level — including yourselves as a Points of Contact (POC), your team, and any key civil society partners.
